I've always been a bookworm. Cliche. Drove my mother nuts because I'd read 3 books simultaneously and somehow managed to keep the stories straight. Now, I'm more the sit up late at night reader (once the kiddos are sleeping) and read a book from cover to cover in a sitting. Or as close to a sitting as is possible, with 2 little kids. Anyways, I lucked into my first #bookmail last summer, and my foray into reviewing books began. I've received some pretty awesome books, so I thought I would add them here. Lies was a fantastic read that pulled me in from the beginning! I recommend this book for anybody that loves psychological thrillers. I received an advance reader’s copy for free from the publisher for my honest review, thank you! I really enjoyed this book!
Joe and his son saw his wife’s car and followed it, and from there the lies began - and they don’t end until the book ends. The author does a nice job of building characters that the reader can connect with, so you really want to know what is going to happen next. The role that technology plays in this book also makes you think about the phones and computers that we use daily, normally without a second thought. The most surprising part for me was that every time I thought that the lies were over, another lie was uncovered! This book had many twists and turns that kept me engaged throughout. Definitely a page turner!

I really enjoyed this one too. Although I figured out the ending, the character were believable and I felt sympathy for the husband. Thanks for the recommendation.
